Observations made over nearly three decades showed that most sunspot activity within the general cycles of sunspot ups and downs is associated with planetary alignments with the Sun. Why this happens is not known. It may have some connection with the spin force.

Shown below are some forthcoming times of predicted increases of solar activity within the next few years when the solar activity is expected to rise to a peak in 2010. There probably will be other relative surges of solar activity. These are only a few representative times I happened upon.

The discovery of a tenth planet, even though it is about 45º above the plane of the ecliptic, may have an influence, and our Sun may also be influenced by other stars as well as emanations from the Galactic Center which appears in alignment with Earth at the times of the summer and winter solstices.

The Moon lines up with Saturn just a few days before Earth passes by Saturn. This will surely have an effect on solar activity and on human behavior. See the section on Planetary Influences for each month for more details. Click for larger image.

Around this time, Mercury passes in front of Earth. Venus and the Sun are in alignment, the Moon is new, and Mars aligns with Saturn at nearly a 90° angle to the Earth-Moon-Mercury-Sun-Venus line up. Click for larger image.

A few more patterns are illustrated without comment. Besides being associated with solar activity, these planetary alignments often have significant influences on human behavior. It's different, depending on what planets are involved, and each individual's unique pattern of planetary positions, which is apparently recorded at birth somehow, and resonant with present patterns for the lifetime of the person.

In analyzing planetary positions note that the physical sizes of the planets may be misleading, for using visible light in only part of the 'reality'. The 'magnetic aura' of a planet is several or many times greater than the merely physical dimensions according to measurements made by instruments.
